If you’re not hearing any audio while watching a movie or TV show on Classix, it may be due to your device’s mute or silent settings — especially on Apple devices.

Classix uses the default Apple video player, so sound playback is controlled by your system settings, including the ringer switch or Control Center.

iPhone & iPad with Side Switch (Silent Mode)

If your iPhone or older iPad has a physical ringer switch on the left side:

  1. Locate the switch above the volume buttons.

  2. Flip the switch toward the screen (you should not see an orange strip).

  3. Raise your volume, then try playing your video again.

When the ringer is muted, Classix (and other apps using the system player) may play without sound.

iPads Without a Side Switch

On newer iPads, the ringer and mute settings are controlled via Control Center:

  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.

  2. Look for the Bell icon (Mute) — if it’s highlighted, tap it to turn sound back on.

  3. Also check that Rotation Lock isn’t affecting playback.

  4. Ensure the device is not in Airplane Mode, which can sometimes interfere with behavior.

Still No Sound?

  • Try adjusting your volume buttons while a video is playing.

  • Plug in headphones or switch audio outputs (e.g., AirPods) to test.

  • Restart the app or device if sound is still missing.
